Does a barcode find the supermarket's current price?
No. It identifies the product and can recall a price you previously entered in the same currency. Always check today's shelf price.
Will the estimate match the checkout exactly?
Not necessarily. Promotions, deposits, tax treatment, rounding and input errors can change the final bill. This is a planning tool, not an official receipt.
Which languages can it read?
The current price extractor targets Latin-script labels and common numeric prices. It does not claim Arabic product-name recognition. The initial app interface is English.
Do I have to use the camera?
No. Manual entry is available. Your shopping data does not need to be uploaded to use the core features.
